a woman like that - near the end and a new beginning

So we are almost finished with the post production on our film "a woman like that". We started almost 8 years ago - at the time of the 2002 Orazio/Artemisia exhibition that traveled from Rome, to the Metropolitan Museum in New York and then on to SLAM, the St. Louis Art Museum. It's been a "long strange trip" filled with many ups and downs, and many wonderful people.

And now we're on to the next challenge, getting the film out there to all those people who love Artemisia and want to know more.

Hi!

I've been trying to collect Feature Films and documentaries made on artists and to say the least I'm dying to get my hands on this one! Congratulations on the completion!

Hello

I am very interested in your film "A Woman Like That." My M.A. thesis focused on Renaissance women and the notion of self-presentation in literature and art. I currently teach Art History, including a course on the Baroque era. I would love to introduce students to Artemisia, her artwork, and the variety of issues she embraces in her paintings. Please let me know when your film is available for purchase.

Sincerely,

Laurie Riggin
